Boss started his show career with a bang, taking his first Best of Breed at eight months over specials. Boss earned his championship by winning Winners Dog at the Havanese Club of America’s National Specialty in May 2024 under prestigious Judge Wendy Pacquette. He quickly finished his championship, Grand Championship and Bronze Grand Championship, taking 27 Best of Breeds during the remainder of 2024. He finished 2024 as the #3 Owner-Handled Havanese, was ranked #14 in AKC’s Grand Champion Points Ranking and ranked #12 in Canine Chronicle’s Breed Standings. All of this was accomplished in six months with limited showing. In December we went to Orlando for the Royal Canin AKC National Dog Show, where Boss was awarded an Award of Merit by Judge Edd Bivin. It was a great start to his show career!

In 2025, Boss is off to another great start. He is currently ranked #1 among Owner-Handled Havanese, and he is ranked #6 in the AKC Grand Championship Points Ranking. We are looking forward to his bright future. Look for him on the Texas circuit this summer, ALWAYS Owner/Breeder Handled!
